I think it is not too late for me to wish everybody a very prosperous Chinese New Year!
But last five days ago on last Friday it was necessary for me to took a train to class as my dad have to use the car to fetch my little sister from MARA, Malacca. So my sister send me to to class in the morning because if use the train from KTM Subang, I may end up late to class and also…late for my presentation that morning…..mampos wey
.
So after class, I stayed at the library just to wait until the Jumaah prayer in the Poly. Then after the prayer I walked to the Batu 3 KTM station and took a train to KL Central. On the way to KL Central I thought of going to Mid Valley to take a look at MPH Bookstore if there’s any book that may appeal my interest. Without further thinking, I took the train interchange to Mid Valley.
When I was in the mall, I took a stroll around the mall, do some window shopping and at last to MPH Bookstore. Once I’ve entered to bookstore, I was quite surprise that the store looks like a scene after a robbery incident just happen…you know, everything just empty. No books, or even a reading material at the entrance, so I thought that it may be due to give a way to new stuff to be display at the entrance la kot. Suddenly, there’s a war happened in the bookstore (being overreacted) all kinds of human being was grabbing every book that they can find from piles of books. Everything is 90% off……EVERYTHING!!!!
I just join the craziness and saw a thick book, well wrapped with a 90% OFF sticker on it. I thought of don’t feel like buying it because i don’t like The Chronicles of Narnia that much. But what the hell? better grab it or else nothing right? with thousands of people in this bookstore you not going to make it to find what you really want, after all, it is a complete set of all Narnia original novel in one big thick book! maybe it’ll fit my little library at home don’t you think?.
After i bought the book (still can’t believe it i bought a Narnia novel) i head back to the KTM MidValley station and wait for the train to come. I waited….and waited….and waited. Then a train arrived. And i cursed BLOODY HELL!!!!! this is not a train coach? this is a can of sardines!!!!
People squeeze themselves and forced their bodies to fit in the coach like there’s no tomorrow. It is just wrong to see this coming. I know that this is just common sight for all other KLites but watching women screaming and shrieking in between all the men just seems so unjust!.
Please people…..find a friend to ride with them to classes or even to your workplace if you can’t afford to have a car for yourselves. because it is just wrong for women to squeezing themselves into between men’s like this especially in Malaysia a Muslim country, i don’t know about the Non-Muslims, i mean come on? are you comfortable to be in this very situation like in the photo above? Hell No!!
So i missed 3 trains that look exactly like above. For the fifth train, i just gambled and stand just exactly in front of the train door when it stops and just let myself to be pushed and squeeze my body into the coach effortlessly……….seriously! try it! it works!!!!
Once i reached KL Central, i just quickly change to LRT to Asia Jaya station and wait for my sister to fetch me because i can’t stand to be a sardine anymore….
This is the records i made for the whole day.
I walked a total of 8km from PSA to Batu Tiga KTM station in just15 minutes twice.
I became a KLites.
I manage to get a book worth RM84.95 for just RM10.
I’m alive~
